The trees around your property bring several benefits. They keep your home cooler, make your surroundings beautiful and comforting, and they may even hold memories for you and your family. However, when a tree begins to develop problems such as major cracks on the trunk or an insect infestation, it poses risks not just to your family but to your entire property as well. If it’s time to say goodbye to one of your trees, make sure you let a professional handle it.
At Big Steve’s Tree Care, we can safely and efficiently remove trees on your property. We are certified experts and arborists, which means we have the training and equipment necessary to get the job right. Our team will even provide you first with a thorough tree inspection to see if removing it is really the best option. If it is, rest assured that we will treat your trees—and property—with the respect they deserve during the removal process.

What Our Customers Are Saying About Us

Responsiveness, Punctuality, Professionalism
Big Steve's Tree Care did a fantastic job removing a very large oak that was nestled up against my house. Their estimate was competitive, they were able to get me on their schedule relatively quick, and the work was performed respectfully and within a single day. Stump grinding and tree removal were both done very well with no damage to my property. I've used this company on three separate occasions across two properties and feel solid in recommending them to anyone in NOVA who needs a tree or stump removed.

Big Steve did work for us several years ago and I was very happy about the quality and price. They just came back and did a moderate amount of work for me and my nextdoor neighbor. Once again they were great! Very careful of our property, did a good job of what we had asked for, and cleaned up very nicely at the end. We were very happy and I certainly would recommend them as a good contractor if you need tree work done, plus miscellaneous shrub pruning, etc.

Affordable, reliable, and best of all INSURED! Don't fall into the trap of the guys who knock on your door and tell you that your tree needs to be removed and for cash they'll give you a great deal. Get a quote from Big Steve, you'll be impressed!

Big Steve's crews do professional and perfect work. I have worked with them for years. They have taken out about 12 oak trees (0ver 80 ft) over the years. Always a reasonable price, and the crews are top rate. Very responsive while on site and leave the yard perfect. I have a bunch more oaks that are going to have to go. Would not even think of any other tree service.

I will use Big Steve again.
I've used Big Steve and his crew three times, once to trim a tree above my house and twice to remove branches that had fallen or were hanging from the tree. Steve is great, thorough and obviously loves trees, when I asked him about certain hanging branches, he told me what was healthy and could stay, so he didn't do more than he had to. He also came for my initial price quote very quickly and was able to do the job a few days later after i emailed the signed price quote back. The lady who answers the phones there is great too!

I watched their crew take down a 125 ft or higher tree in the neighbors yard across the street and was so impressed with the professional work I decided to use them for a similar situation. Couldn’t be happier I did. I would recommend Big Steve’s Tree service yo anyone. Thank you 🙏
