I've used Big Steve and his crew three times, once to trim a tree above my house and twice to remove branches that had fallen or were hanging from the tree. Steve is great, thorough and obviously loves trees, when I asked him about certain hanging branches, he told me what was healthy and could stay, so he didn't do more than he had to. He also came for my initial price quote very quickly and was able to do the job a few days later after i emailed the signed price quote back. The lady who answers the phones there is great too!

We had three trees removed from a small yard in Old Town Alexandria. Highly technical job that included a very large Mulberry that overhung neighbors' property on both sides and was crisscrossed by no less than three service lines, as well as cable lines. Also included large elm that was less than 10 feet from house. I honestly did not understand how it would be possible to safely get rid of these trees. The crew did not bat an eye when they saw the situation. They skillfully and methodically took down the trees, often having to proceed painstakingly slow to work around obstacles and avoid damaging structures. I would have full faith in this crew to take on extremely challenging/technical jobs.

Big Steve's crews do professional and perfect work. I have worked with them for years. They have taken out about 12 oak trees (0ver 80 ft) over the years. Always a reasonable price, and the crews are top rate. Very responsive while on site and leave the yard perfect. I have a bunch more oaks that are going to have to go. Would not even think of any other tree service.
