I had a great experience using this company to trim the deadwood off a very large, healthy pin oak. The tree looks so much better & the gentlemen did an excellent, professional job, hauling away all the trimmed off water sprouts. I will definitely use their services again.

I've used Big Steve and his crew three times, once to trim a tree above my house and twice to remove branches that had fallen or were hanging from the tree. Steve is great, thorough and obviously loves trees, when I asked him about certain hanging branches, he told me what was healthy and could stay, so he didn't do more than he had to. He also came for my initial price quote very quickly and was able to do the job a few days later after i emailed the signed price quote back. The lady who answers the phones there is great too!

We’ve used Big Steve’s twice since buying our dream property last year. We have many huge trees and initially needed one dead tree removed & cleaning up several more. The 4 man crew had a bucket truck but used climbing for most of the trees. The workers were very skilled, pleasant, and respectful of our property. They’re also amazing to watch - they’re at home up in the trees. The price was very fair & Steve is a pleasure to deal with. He is a local, hands on business owner & very knowledgeable. When another tree that posed a risk didn’t look good this spring, we knew who to call. As a tree lover, I appreciate that Steve puts tree health first and is truly interested in getting a good result. Very happy to have found Big Steve’s & highly recommend!

Big Steve came out right away to address my concerns on a new home property that had invasive trees and tree shrubs destroying a custom-made $30,000 fence. Their estimate was very reasonable given that ten fence panels needed to come down and go back up after removal and five fence posts needed to be replaced due to the damage. The job took two days to include taking down two trees near the front porch. Big Steve also adjusted their schedule to remove invasive tree shrubs from the neighbor's property affecting the party fence and water and sewage exterior pipes. Big Steve's Tree Care did a fantastic job removing a very large oak that was nestled up against my house. Their estimate was competitive, they were able to get me on their schedule relatively quick, and the work was performed respectfully and within a single day. Stump grinding and tree removal were both done very well with no damage to my property. I've used this company on three separate occasions across two properties and feel solid in recommending them to anyone in NOVA who needs a tree or stump removed.
